NPN Environmental provides regulatory compliance services to our clients with a focal point for environmental, health, and safety issues for commercial and industrial operations. Our regulatory compliance team draws on a diverse background of experience, education, and training to provide our clients with a complete range of regulatory compliance services. Our expert team is comprised of engineers and scientists providing comprehensive and economic solutions to your regulatory needs. Our regulatory compliance services include facility audits, assistance, environmental notebooks, plans, reports, OSHA compliance services, and training.
Assistance
NPN Environmental can provide Clean Air process impact assistance and FIFRA research, applicability, and notification assistance. Our team will attend regulatory MDNR Inspections or input pre- or post-inspections, or assist with a resolution of MDNR Notice of Violation. NPN Environmental conducts RCRA research assistance, storage requirements, and tanks and any RMP research assistance and compliance needs. Our SPCC team can provide SPCC research assistance and can include site inspection and containment design. TSCA research assistance, reporting requirements, and notification is also one of our regulatory compliance assistance services.
Audits
NPN Environmental’s various compliance protocols are designed to identify specific environmental or health and safety issues applicable to a facility’s operation. The audit team observes processes and work practices and reviews all regulatory files, reports, permits, and other documentation to prepare a confidential compliance status report of an operation.
OSHA Compliance
NPN Environmental diligently and cost-effectively develops and implements OSHA-required programs including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, fall protection, confined space entry, etc. Additionally, our air sampling professionals routinely perform personnel exposure monitoring for OSHA-regulated chemical exposures and noise. The evaluation of potential combustible dust hazards is completed to determine if the suspect dust poses high combustibility characteristics. Recommendations and corrective measures are presented as applicable.
Plans & Reports
Various Federal and State environmental regulations require facilities to submit compliance plans, programs, and/or reports. NPN Environmental is experienced in developing accurate plans and reports including Form R reports, Tier II reports, hazardous waste activity reports, chemical release reports, spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, risk management plans (RMP), and FIFRA pesticide registrations.
Environmental Notebooks
The environmental notebook is designed to be a reference guide for facility personnel by identifying applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and their specific requirements. Our team will custom design notebooks to focus on a particular regulatory issue or all issues applicable to a specific facility.
Training
We also provide our clients with the development of client-specific training programs to OSHA and DOT criteria, including HAZWOPER, Hazmat, and DOT.
