AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Our diverse air quality management team provides our clients extensive experience and knowledge stemming from multiple disciplines. Led by professional engineers, our air quality professionals include scientists, engineers, and technicians. NPN Environmental has an extensive working knowledge of industrial, commercial, chemical, and mining regulatory requirements.
ASBESTOS & LEAD MANAGEMENT
Providing clients with Asbestos and Lead Management consulting services has been a strength of NPN Environmental since our founding in 1993. Our firm has completed over 1000 projects in asbestos management for hundreds of clients. All asbestos personnel are trained and certified to EPA, OSHA, and State criteria and all work is conducted under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS
We offer our clients an experienced professional team to perform ESAs in accordance with ASTM and AAI standards. Our project principals are professional engineers and our project managers are registered geologists, environmental assessors, and asbestos/lead inspectors. Our professional team has conducted over 500 Phase I ESAs for more than 200 clients.
FACILITY DECOMMISSIONING
Our team recognizes the time and economic constraints associated with facility downsizing and/or decommissioning and ensures regulatory compliance through all phases of decommissioning. Our professionals combine environmental knowledge with practical experience during decontamination and decommissioning procedures. We meticulously develop safe work plans, establish decontamination criteria, perform and manage onsite projects, and assist in salvage and waste stream management. We are able to meet changing business climates with innovative, prudent, and cost-effective solutions.
INDOOR AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
We specialize in providing innovative indoor air quality services for managing and monitoring indoor air environments. With working practical knowledge and extensive experience, we provide high-quality solutions to our clients’ indoor air quality issues. We provide building owners and facility managers with comprehensive evaluations of indoor air quality utilizing recognized regulatory and industrial standards.
MINING
Our Mining Services segment has been organized by joining the experience of a core group with NPN Environmental’s other diverse environmental expertise. This combined staff provides the mining industry with a single source for all environmental requirements. Our team has experience with both underground and surface permitting, shadow area and boundary revisions, reclamation plan changes, minor underground facilities permits, and significant revisions. We combine our expertise and experience with established regulatory resources to facilitate and expedite our clients’ mining environmental needs.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Our regulatory compliance team draws on a diverse background of experience, education, and training to provide our clients a complete range of regulatory compliance services. Our expert team is comprised of engineers and scientists providing comprehensive and economic solutions to our clients’ regulatory needs.
REMEDIATION SERVICES
Our professionals provide clients with the guidance and solutions required to minimize future liability while pursuing a cost-effective approach to resolving remediation issues. Work plans are developed with client input to meet regulatory requirements and effectively provide an individualized work strategy for each project. Our engineers develop corrective action plans with foremost attention to time management, cleanup levels, and budget constraints.
TANK & CONTAINER
From removal of regulated underground tanks to change-of-service cleaning of aboveground tanks, our professionals can assist in all phases of the project. Our team can efficiently secure regulatory permits, properly clean tanks and dispose of tanks and tank residues. Container management of drums, totes, and labpacks are provided as a one-time project or on a reoccurring schedule.
WATER QUALITY
Storm water permitting, SWPPP development, and outfall sampling assist facilities in achieving regulatory compliance. Our expertise is based on a working knowledge of water quality regulations and hands-on experience in obtaining discharge permits, performing outfall sampling, conducting process evaluations and direct involvement in day-to-day operations and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plants.
